Small diner. Some counter space, about 7-8 seats and about 6 booth tables. Menu is quite extensive. What to get today. No Hawg or Dawgs today. Ordered an Irish omelet, veggie omelet, no cheese or tomatoes and added turkey sausage, hash browns with green peppers and onions added and cooked well done. We both got raisin toast. $40.48. Extra $1 for each egg order due to the bird flu and shortages. Up charge on egg dishes is on the door coming into the diner. The Irish omelet was good on its own without any condiments added to it. The veggie omelet was good, good amount of turkey sausage for heh added side. The raisin toast was light and billowy. Not bad. The service here is friendly, quick and efficient. They're able to turn tables over pretty quickly. The food was out in a flash.
I drove past this place for many years, not really noticing it. The other day I was looking for a breakfast joint and decided to give it a try. And oh boy am I glad I did. The place is old school. But clean. Everyone is super friendly, and staff knows everyone (but me) by name. And boy do they have a brisk carry out business. Breakfast is fantastic! Soups are equally as good. And here is how you know this place is quality. I order my eggs soft scrambled. This place nailed it twice (yes I came back 2 days later). I don't think I have ever gotten soft scrambled done properly at a breakfast joint. Sign of proper cooking technique. Found my new favorite breakfast joint!
I hope you hungry when you come here..... Irish omelet, corn beef and Swiss omelet, ham, egg, cheese croissant. Quick service, waitress was fantastic. We sit outside at the tables, beautiful day to do so. Glad we stopped in.
Ok the food, serving size is huge!!! Daughter had the croissant sandwich ham and egg and cheese, ingredients hung out over the croissant. I got the corn beef and Swiss omelette substitute pancakes. But hash browns are excellent. Wife got the Irish omelette it was as big as the plate and she could only finish half. Daughter finished half i ate all mine. Service waitress right on it constantly never need anything, food came out in 5 minutes faster than any fast food. Highly recommend. Ambiance standing room only inside so we ate outside at there cute tables very nice neighborhood. Nice local cafe fun to be at. Stop in here no disappointments possible!!!!
The best omelettes and probably some other good stuff, too. idk, I know they've got the meats.
We eat here every two weeks during bowling season. EVERYTHING is always just freaking good!!! Service STUPENDOUS! They are definitely on the Shugah Boo crew

I found myself looking for a Detroit diner experience and found it here! Big omelettes for a reasonable price! Our waitress was very nice as well. If you're looking for a place to have diner coffee and a huge plate of eggs and fried potatoes, then this is one great spot to try!

What a quaint little place. I loved it. It's retro which is right up my alley. I was pleasantly pleased to find this hidden gem. My friend and I went on an early Sunday morning as she was visiting from out of town. The server was so nice and friendly. The cook...well he cooked his butt off. Yes indeedy! I had hash-browns with bell peppers and onions and a side of bacon. My friend had a meal with hash-browns with onions and green peppers, with American cheese, a sunny-side up egg on top and ham. They give you nice portions at an excellent price. This is my new SPOT! I'm coming back and bringing my hubby in tow, because he loves breakfast and I know he's going to enjoy this place. Thanks so much for a wonderful dining experience. I appreciate you guys.
